Lesson 4 An exciting trip
I have just received a letter from my brother, Tim. He is in Australia. He has been there for six months. Tim is an engineer. He is working for a big firm and he has already visited a great number of different places in Australia. He has just bought an Australian car and has gone to Alice Springs, a small town in the centre of Australia. He will soon visit Darwin. From there, he will fly to Perth. My brother has never been abroad before, so he is finding this trip very exciting.

Last week I went to the theatre. I had avery good seat . The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry . I cound not hear the actors . I turned round . I looked at the man and the woman angrily . They did not pay any attention. In the end, I cound not bear it. I turned round again. ' I can't hear a word!' I said angrily.' It's none of your business', the young man said rudely. ' This is a private conversation!'

点评： 流畅清晰，无大的发音错误。只是小音节上有点吞音和嘴型不到。
VERY 注意V要咬唇 。元音发音过快，不饱满，以后注意一下就OK了。

Youth is not(NOT发音不清晰) entirely a time of life;it is a state(元音a,正确发音是 嘴角列到儿朵,张大嘴) of mind;it is not a matter of rosy checks,red lips and supple knee(注意一下延长发音时间)s;it is a temper of the will,a quailty of the imagination（tion的发音很不准确,应该是类似语 SHEN 的发音有 SHI 这个音, 就是类似于 施恩 和在一起的读音,这是你的老问题了.应该是气通舌尖,咬牙龈发音）,a vigor of the emotions;it is the freshness of hte deep springs(发音错误) of life.

tion的发音很不准确,应该是类似语shen 的发音, 有 shi 这个音含在里面, 就是类似于 "施恩" 和在一起的读音

点评：真的很棒 ，这次元音的发音很饱满

The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning. They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamonds from South Africa. A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds. When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main buildings while others were waiting on the airfield. Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House. While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel. To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!
